"This is Watan. You walk in and you see this huge charcoal grill and this crazy line of curries, which are all being made from scratch."

"We're kicking things off with a 39 pound Afghan mixed grill. All the meats are barbecued over charcoal, then served with rice on a huge Afghan naan. All the meats were superb, but my favorite were the lamb sheet kebabs and the lamb chops. The seasoning was to die for. I love the char on the outside from the grill and they were so juicy in the middle."

"Then we move on to the chicken karahi, which is all made from scratch. It comes sizzling to your table in this huge pan. I love how the chicken is served on the bone so you don't get a dry breast. And that kick of spice at the end was rather bloody lovely."

And I've got a rather large torso. You rip it up, dip it into the curry, and your mouth just starts to salivate."
